ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN

I specialize in private residences and tourism facilities using appropriate materials and technology. My practice is dedicated to the shaping of our built environment in a way that is deeply comfortable, beautiful and supportive of both human and environmental health. Every design is approached in an entirely responsive and site specific manner; informed by a range of different stimuli including climatic conditions, user activity and availability of local materials. I also believe that my clients are the only ones who know, at the deepest level, what they need and that their wholehearted involvement is crucial to producing a building that they feel and are " at home " in.

CANVAS ARCHITECTURE

The antithesis to any industrial material, canvas has a magic and timelessness which I am constantly inspired by. I have a wealth of experience designing high end luxury camps and bespoke canvas structures throughout East Africa and the world.
